New Models Of Mid Size Cars In India
With the advent of technology and knowledge in India, there have been many changes in the business world. New products and services have sprung up in every market, because the customer is now better informed and they know exactly what they want. With the advent of technology and innovation, a new car segment was seen growing in India, in the past few years, the mid size car segment.
Also, during those times a person could buy only two models of cars, and in case they wanted some other model, they would either have to import it from another country or buy it via the customs. This was the only to get the variety of cars in India, before globalization.
With globalization and open economy, all this has changed, and even the car market has several new segments. One of the few new segments is the mid size cars. A mid size car is basically a car that can be described as a family car, which can seat around five people comfortably. A small car is basically a car that can seat about four people comfortably, while a big car can safely seat around eight to ten people.
Fiat Linea:
FIAT has been a company that has been wrought with problems since the past few years. In fact, the only reason that FIAT still exists in the market is due to the sheer quality and value for money that FIAT offers to its customers. With the service aspect of FIAT now being looked by TATA motors, it remains to be seen whether FIAT will offer better service to its clients.
However, FIAT has a winner on their hands with the recently launched FIAT Linea. The FIAT Linea is a car that can stand shoulder to shoulder with any of the other major name cars, and is actually cheaper than other cars in its segment.
Hyundai Verna:
Hyundai made a splash in the Indian car market with their very successful Santro. It has come up with many other models and each has had their own level of success. Hyundai’s mid size model is the Hyundai Verna, which does not actually impress a person with looks, but in terms of performance it comes across as a hard nut to crack when compared to other cars in its segment.
Volkswagen Jetta:
Volkswagen is the newest entrant in the now mature Indian car market. It has launched a few of its models for all car segments, and the company’s initial entry into the mid size car market is the Volkswagen Jetta. The car is creatively designed, and at first go, it does seem a bit bigger than it actually is.
Maruti Swift Dzire:
Maruti has been considered to be the innovator of the Indian car market. They created magic with the Maruti 800 back in the ‘80s and they did a repeat performance with the Maruti Swift in the ‘00s. Even today, the Maurti Swift is one of the most visible cars on the Indian roads. Its mid size car version is the Maruti Swift Dzire, which basically works on the same aspect of the Maruti Swift.
